  World Water Day March 22nd
  Mahinga Kai - a media release which you can tailor for your own region. Thanks to the Biodiversity Advice Fund for support for this work. (Word format)
  Stream Education and Assessment Resource for Secondary Schools - ready-for-use resources which will support/encourage investigations, research and action for the environment, enable credit to be gained for NCEA and encourage more sustained involvement in waterways education in the secondary schools sector. Print in landscape for best results.
  For ideas on how to use CREST in National Waterways projects, Science Fair and for Gifted and Talented! Read about what Botany Downs Secondary College did... There are 37 ideas for waterways investigations in this case study! (PDF, 831K)
  November newsletter - A drop of news 21, our last newsletter for 2005. Read about how aquatic insects cope with seasonal changes in temperature; a simple method for taking successful underwater photos; links to four new case studies including CREST for G&T at Botany Downs Secondary College (this includes 37 ideas for student waterways investigations!); great new resources and lots of interesting droplets of waterways information.
  Where There's Water: The next funding round will close on Wednesday 22nd March (World Water Day). Applications are welcome for projects starting around May next year.
